Job Details

New Age Meats is seeking an intern to join our team. We are on the forefront of the alternative meats industry and are seeking a motivated candidate to contribute to our goal of making a delicious and sustainable products

A successful candidate will support all of our research divisions by maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment and ensuring the accuracy of our instrumentation.

Duties Include

• Routine equipment cleaning
  • Cleaning and sanitation of all equipment contributing to data analysis
  • Documentation and record keeping of all activities
  • Verification and validation of sanitation procedures
• Assist certification and calibration of equipment and instruments including but not limited too
  •  Incubators
  • Refrigerator
  • Ultra-Low Storage
  • Biological Safety Cabinet
  • Pipettes
• Maintenance and cleaning of above listed items
• For all the above listed tasks and additional duties be able to
  • Record results generated in house as well from third parties.
  • Communicate results to team leads as well as other divisions.
  • Prepare results in a way that are easy to digest and understand.
  • Be prepared to verbally communicate results when asked.

Qualifications 

• Associates or Bachelors in Biological Sciences, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
